You can now use 'Placeholders' in your documents to allow QuoteOnSite to automatically insert data in different parts of your document.

For example, by using the placeholder {document.ref}, QuoteOnSite will automatically show your quote/contract reference on the client document.

You can insert information related to your customer using

{customer.forename}

{customer.surname}

{customer.address}

{customer.companyname}

You can insert information related to your document using

{document.ref}

{document.grossprice}

{document.netprice}

{document.discountprice}

{document.jobname}

You can insert information related to your company using

{company.name}

{company.vatnumber}

{company.companynumber}

{company.telephone}

{company.email}

{company.paymentterms}

{company.address}

Advanced Templating

By using placeholders in your template, you can insert relevant client, document and company data into new quotes, proposals and contracts, saving time.

N.B. placeholders are always in lowercase and are case-sensitive - if a capital letter is included, the software will not replace the placeholder.

Always check your preview document for errors before sending to your clients.
