Add e-signatures to your documents and document templates

You can now add e-signatures to your Quote and Contract documents and Document Templates.

When an e-signature is added to a Template, the signature can be signed and will be included when a new document is created from the template.

You can add an 'E-signature' to your document in the same way as you add a 'Form'.

Documents can only have ONE E-Signature section but can have multiple signatures within it.

1 Hover over a section close to where you would like to add the 'E-signature'. The [Add+] button will appear.

2 - Select the 'E-Signatures' option.

3 - You now have an 'E-signatures' section.

4 - Click the [+] to expand the 'E-signatures' block and click on the [+ Add E-Signature] button to add an E-signature pad to your document.

5 - You can Sign to type your signature prior to sending a document to your client and also add an extra signature box to be filled in.

6 - Add a Forename and Surname to the signature pad to identify the signee before sending. By adding the placeholders {customer.forename} and {customer.surname} in the appropriate boxes, QuoteOnSite will automatically populate these fields for you and the customer. NB. This is especially useful when adding signatures to Templates.

You can change the width of this section. See Changing the width of your sections guide for more help.
