Improved job management

QuoteOnSite now gives you greater control over accepted Quotes and the way Draft Invoices are automatically produced.

Marking a Job as Completed

We recognised that in many cases, when a quote has been accepted, this does not represent the final stage of the service provision.

Based on client feedback, we've been asked to provide a further status that identifies the service for an accepted quote as being completed.

So, if a job has an accepted quote, it can be marked as completed.

This can be done in 3 places:

1. On the Quotes screen

2. In the Quote Edit Screen

3. In the Customer Details screen, under the relevant Job section.

Suppressing draft invoices until the Job is marked as Completed

There are several user scenarios when the finance team access invoices in QuoteOnSite to action billing.

In these cases, you can now enable a setting that only generates a draft invoice when a job has been marked as completed.

Go to Admin - Settings - Pay/Doc.

This removes ambiguity in the Invoices Draft column - an invoice will only be shown if the Job is Completed.

The finance team can now mark invoices as sent and extract the relevant invoices in a .CSV file, knowing that each invoice they are dealing with is ready to be billed.
