Selecting your header

Your document template header can take the form of a Standard Cover Page, Letter Head or Bespoke Cover Page.

Standard Cover page

Firstly, you need to choose a header style.

To select your header style, hover over the Header section and you will see the [Header Style] button appear. By clicking this you will see our cover page management pop up. This gives you access to our pre-designed standard cover pages layouts.

Within this Cover Page Management popup, you can:

- add a background image (left option)

- adjust the image opacity (slider)

- change your primary company colour (middle option)

- search through the cover page options (right option)

A couple of points to note here;

1. The background image and opacity you select here, will only be applied to this page. If you want this same image (or a different one) as the background to your other pages, you will need to repeat the steps above for each page.

2. If you do decide to change the primary company colour here, it will change on all documents, even those that have already been sent.

Letter Head

If you require your document to be a simple one page costing similar to this...

choose the 'Sectioned' header style option. This will create the grid like design you see above. To make sure each section follows immediately afterwards, remove any page breaks.

Bespoke Cover Page

If you would prefer to design your own cover page, we suggested you use a design package such as Canva. Make sure you create it as an A4 document and once complete, save your design as a PNG. Within QuoteOnSite you will then need to upload this image into your Image Gallery. To do this, above the Header section you will see the Page number and a [+]

By clicking this [+] you will open your Image Gallery (It is worth noting that this gallery can be accessed in any section on any document across your account). Upload your new image and then select it from your Gallery. So you don't get a duplication of data, you will need to 'hide' the automatic Header information. Within your Header section, click 'Header Style' and choose 'Hidden'. The standard header information will then be hidden leaving only your bespoke design on display.
